Healthy French Toast
A Breakfast Favorite~with a Healthy Twist
Awesome French Toast!
2 egg whites, beaten
½ cup 1 percent milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 slices bread
1. In a shallow bowl, combine the egg whites, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Beat until frothy. Dip the bread into the egg-white mixture, turning to coat both sides.
2. Heat a large skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Working in batches if necessary, place the bread in the pan and cook for 3 minutes. Turn the bread. Cook for 3 minutes longer, or until golden brown on both sides.
Makes 2 Servings
