JUST BREATHE
Breathing is often taken for granted, but it has the power to relax the body, mind, and spirt. When we breathe properly, we inhale oxygen and nutrients into the body and when we exhale, we release toxic carbon dioxide. Here are a few simple breathing techniques to help you blow off stress.
Sit with your spine erect. Begin taking long, slow, and deep breaths through the nostrils.
As you inhale, allow your belly to fill with air. As you exhale, allow the belly to deflate like a balloon.
Repeat several times, keeping your breath smooth and relaxed.
